4. The first gospel is found in Genesis 3:15. This is God’s first announcement that Jesus was coming and that Satan would be defeated. (Genesis 3:15; John 3:16)

5. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. (Genesis 3:21; 1 Corinthians 5:7; John 1:29)

6. The tree of life is waiting. Christ has opened the door to heaven and through him and by him and in him anyone who receives Him can come in. (Genesis 3:22-24; Revelation 22:1-2)

The real focus of the Genesis account is Jesus Christ!

For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:34–36)

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12).

He is “the Son of God” (Matthew 26:63–64). “And the one to whom all authority on heaven and earth has been given” (Matthew 28:18).
