About Us

Who We Are:

We are a Bible believing nondenominational Christian church.  We are a fellowship of Christians who desire to understand and practice the Word of God as honestly as possible.  “…the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart, and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”  1 Timothy 1.5

What We Believe:

  • About God

God is the Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the universe.  He is one Being who exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son & Holy Spirit.  God is the Father of Jesus Christ and is our Father who will provide for all our needs.  God is all-powerful, all-knowing and is present everywhere.  He is both perfect and personal.  The Gospel is the revelation of God’s sovereign will and saving grace through Jesus Christ.  (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 40:28; Galatians 1:3, 4)

  • About Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the second person of the Godhead.   All things were created through Him (John 1:1).  He came as God in the flesh to give His life as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world.  Jesus was resurrected from the dead and is alive today and forever.  He is King of Kings who is coming again.  He will be victorious over all evil.  Jesus is the solution to man’s sin and desires to be Savior and Lord of our lives. (John 1:1, 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Colossians 1:15; Revelation 22:12-13)

  • Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son.  The Holy Spirit is a person, not an impersonal force.  As a Counselor and Comforter, the Holy Spirit lives within the Christian, teaching us the truth, helping us to live right and reminding us of Jesus.  The Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnesses and servants of Jesus. (Psalm 139:7-8; Isaiah 40:13; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16; Romans 5:5, 8:27; 1 Corinthians 12:11)

  • About the Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It is our guide, declaring the truth about God, proclaiming what we should believe and how we should live.  The Bible is for everyone to read so that all may hear God speak to their hearts and minds.  The Bible’s goal is to present God’s plan to redeem man through Jesus Christ.  The Bible is a book of blessing, and all Christians should acquaint themselves with it.  (Psalm 19:7-11,  119:1-2, 11, 105; 2 Timothy 2:15, 3:16)

  • About People

Man and woman were created in God’s image.  They were tempted by Satan and chose to rebel against God.  Our tendency, because of rebellion, is to do evil.  On our own we cannot make ourselves good.  We can be made righteous and find forgiveness for our sins only through Jesus Christ.  We can have abundant life here and an eternal life hereafter only by God’s grace through Jesus Christ.  (Genesis 1:26; John 1:12, 3:16, 10:10, 20:31; Ephesians 2:8, 9)

  • About The Church

The Church is the body of Jesus Christ.  It includes people of every race who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Jesus Christ is the head of the Church.  (Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 3:21, 5:23)

As a church, we observe two ordinances that were instituted by Jesus.  They are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.   Jesus gave these ordinances to the Church to proclaim His message and to build up His people.   The unity of Christians is clearly expressed through these two common acts.  We believe that these ordinances are to be observed as they were in the day of the Apostles. (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19, 20).

The goal of our Church is to meet needs of people by developing a ministry that is Bible-centered, Christ-centered and People-centered.  One which will allow every person the opportunity to know and grow in Jesus Christ and be equipped to serve Him.
