B. There is nothing we can do to heal our spiritual lameness. (Isaiah 64:6; Titus 3:5)
C. God’ heals the spiritually lame by His mighty power as His free gift, apart from merit or works. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
D. God gives us far more than we ask or think. (1 Peter 1:3-4; Romans 8:17; Ephesians 3:20)

II. Salvation should cause those who have received it to praise God with great joy. (Acts 3:8)
A. Salvation fills us with great joy because it is received unexpectedly. (Psalm 126:1-3)
B. Salvation fills us with great joy because it is received instantly. (Romans 4:4-5)
C. Salvation fills us with great joy because it is received completely. (Ephesians 1:3; 2 Peter 1:3,8)

III. The great joy of our salvation should be a witness for the gospel to others. (Acts 4:4)

Application questions:
(1) Have I received God’s gift of healing for my soul through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
(2) If I have received Christ, does the joy in my life reflect what God has done for my soul?
(3) Am I looking for opportunities to share the joy of new life in Christ with those around me who are spiritually crippled?
