III. What: Transfiguration- the glory of divine nature breaking through the veil of humanity (Mark 9:2c-8; Luke 9:28-32; Matthew 24:30; 1 John 3:2)

IV. Why: to reveal the unveiled glory of the Son of God (Mark 9:2c-13; Luke 1:17; Philippians 3:20-21; 2 Peter 1:16-20)
