Thriving Day by Day (James 4:13-17)

I. Beware of foolish boasting and presumption. (James 4:13, 16; Proverbs 27:1)

II. We do not know what will happen tomorrow. (James 4:14a; Matthew 6:34)

III. Life is but a vapor. (James 4:14b; Psalm 90:12)

IV. If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that. (James 4:15; Acts 18:21; Proverbs 3:5-6; 16:9; Matthew 6:10; 26:39)

V. To him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (James 4:17; Matthew 25:45)
