The Gift of New Beginnings
(Isaiah 43:18-19)

1.”Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” (Isaiah 43:18; Isaiah 55:9; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17)

2. “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?” (Isaiah 43:19; Isaiah 42:9; Matthew 13:33; Numbers 11:4-6; Ecclesiastes 7:10)

3. “I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19; Isaiah 43:2; Romans 8:31; John 14:6)

4. “Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’” (Revelation 21:1-5; Psalm 90:4)

Application Questions:
What will you do differently in the New Year?
What should you leave in the past and not carry into the New Year?
How does God’s nature reflect new beginnings?
In what new way will you serve God?
By faith, what new things do you believe God is doing in your life/family/community?
How can you live in light of the New Covenant?
