Who Would Be the Greatest?

II. Teaching on Humility (Mark 9:33-41)

A. “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” (Mark 9:35; Philippians 1:27; James 4:10)

B. Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.” (Mark 9:37; John 13:1-17)

C. “For he who is not against us is on our side.” (Mark 9:40; Ephesians 4:32; Philippians 1:15-18)

D. “He will by no means lose his reward.” (Mark 9:41; Proverbs 22:4)
