Holy Living in an Unholy World
(1 Peter 1:13-16)

I. To be holy people, we must be focused on Christ’s return.

A. Holy living begins in the mind. (1 Peter 1:13; 2 Corinthians 10:5)

B. Holy living requires spiritual alertness. (1 Peter 1:13, 5:8)

C. Holy living is motivated by grace. (1 Peter 1:13)

II. To be holy people, we must be obedient to the Father in all of life (1:14, 15b).

A. We must make a break with our past lifestyle. (1 Peter 1:14)

B. We must establish a habit of obedience. (1 Peter 1:14)

III. To be holy people, we must be growing in our personal knowledge of God’s holiness. (1 Peter 1:15- 16)
