Fight the Good Fight

Fighting the Good Fight
(Philippians 3:12-21)

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Principle #1: Check your direction. (Philippians 3:12-14; 4:13; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27)

Principle #2: Follow godly examples. (Philippians 3:15-17)
A) Who are you following?
B) Who is following you?

Principle #3: Do not be deceived. (Philippians 3:18-19; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Principle # 4: Remember your true citizenship. (Philippians 3:20; Hebrews 13:14)

“Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run to win. Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. So I do not run uncertainly or box like one who hits only air. Instead I subdue my body and make it my slave, so that after preaching to others I myself will not be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:24-17
